Syl allows users to upload syllabi to automatically extract and sync deadlines, assignments, and exams to personal calendars (e.g., Google Calendar).

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the content you upload.
  • You agree not to upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
  • You agree that we may store and analyze your uploaded syllabi to provide and improve our Services.

5. Use of Uploaded Content

  • By uploading syllabi, you grant Syl a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, analyze, and use the content for service improvement, research, analytics, and the creation of anonymized, aggregated data products.
  • We do not use or share your personal account data (such as your name, email, or other identifiers) with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
  • Aggregated syllabus data may be shared or sold to third parties in a de-identified and anonymized format.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

7. Modifications

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes through our platform or by email. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
